Privacy Policy

Last updated · 2026-09-06

Pathfinder is a small travel game built by a solo developer. This document explains, in plain language, what the app collects, what it doesn't, and how to remove your data. If something here is unclear, write to the email at the bottom of the page.

1. Who runs this app

Pathfinder is operated by Yeonni Lee, an individual developer based in Seoul, South Korea. There is no parent company. Contact: conyleeyn@daum.net

2. What we collect

Nothing. Pathfinder has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own. There is no registration, no profile and no login screen anywhere in the app. We do not collect, receive or store any personal data about you.

Everything the game creates — your route, tickets, balance, work records, diary entries, photos and travel reports — is written to your device's local storage and stays there. It is included in your normal iCloud or iTunes device backup because iOS backs the app up as a whole; we have no access to those backups. You can also export a copy yourself from Your save inside the app.

3. What we never collect

4. Where data is stored

On your device only. Pathfinder runs its interface in an embedded web view and saves state to that view's local storage. There is no backend database, no cloud sync and no third-party hosting behind the app.

The interface loads a few open-source libraries (React and an image-export helper) from public CDNs when you launch it. Those requests carry nothing but the file name; we send no personal data with them, and the CDN operators are not given any data by us.

5. Paying for the app

Pathfinder is a paid download: one purchase on the App Store, and the whole game is yours. There are no in-app purchases, no subscription and no advertising inside it, so the app never asks you for money or for a payment method. The App Store handles the purchase entirely, and we never see your payment method, billing address or card details.

6. Sharing what you make

Travel reports, tickets and boarding passes are rendered as images on your device. When you tap Share, iOS opens its standard share sheet and the image goes only where you send it. Nothing is uploaded to us.

7. Children

Pathfinder is rated 4+. Because the app collects no personal data at all and has no social features, there is nothing for a child — or any user — to disclose to us.

8. Your rights

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. To remove what is on your device:

9. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, brokers, or any third party — we have none to share. The only company involved in your use of the app is Apple, which handles App Store distribution and the purchase of the app under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID, password or payment details.

10. Data retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Apple keeps the record of your App Store purchase, which is what lets you reinstall the app on your devices without paying again.

11. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a way that affects you, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, show a one-time notice inside the app on next launch.
